suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
Actually it is a really good movie. It's got a 'gritty' future feel to it in that whole...You can tell technology has advanced, but that's like background noise. It's sublte an shit.
The story itself is kinda...meh, a wee bit flimsy, but the actual cinemetography, the time some scenes take between cuts (9 minutes at one point I believe), the acting is at least par, and an awesome battle scene.
I'll say it's at the very least definately worth one look.

The Nerdcon Video will probably never be released, i do not have the right equipment for it. St.Toxic has, but he is unreachable so the video is collecting dust and i am thinking of melting it in the oven.
I like my women as i like my whiskey. Twelve years old and mixed up with coke.
Best movie of the year. I like how the movie doesn't try to explain why the world is fucked up but rather depicts it from Theo's perspective. Great cinematography, wonderfully dystopic Britain and many thought provoking moments. The only flaw is probably the main character's unnecessary death in the end.

what equipment is needed. i have a length of rope and a 500w lightbulb, hope that helps :swell:
i liked children of men, it was like a game movie, but a good game movie. operation flashpoint rolling down the hill, half life 2. then some games about riding in the back of a car and chit.
Best movie I saw in 2006... the Academy should be ashamed of themselves for snubbing it. Seriously, did you see the list of shit they nominated in Best Picture category?

This and Blood Diamond were probably the two best of 2006 in my opinion. Although I didn't see Last King of Scotland and I heard that was really good stuff.
Last King of Scotland was more of a comedy, but certainly not worse than Blood Diamond. I watched them a day apart so I saw quite enough dead congoids for one weekend. I hate to say this, but I'm starting to like Leo DiCaprio's acting, he was quite good in the Aviator as well.
