I dunno, is this a US-american schtick? It's pretty understandable if your fundamentalists look for simple enemies to make themselves shine in a brighter light. That's how politics works, nothing special. The D&Ders can be glad if they are only accused of being in pact with the devil, they could be called occult child rapists or "witch" drug users, which are serious crimes and really "bad", huh. And if a strong group like christian fundamentalists accuses someone of stuff like that, they don't need proof. Better repent and bend over for your new leaders.
Also, D&D and similar stuff is shit.

The idea is that you make models of worlds and then play with them. Many people attracted to this stuff have maybe a bit of built-in intuitive Systems Analysis. So the games provide "grist for the mill".
Here is a good idea of where it came from, unintentionally.

That chick crap scares the shit out of me. These people are free to roam the earth. They push their religion on others but are offended when other religions do the same. Jesus was a crazy Jew. Lets just get over it already. Their concept of god is also very strange. If heaven means I have to be stuck with a bunch of born-agains, send me to hell immediately. New Jersey sucks major balls. its like guido-opolis. The food sucks. The women all have a bitter tasting personality and we are New York's forgotten bitch. I'm really convinced it is hell. Africa seems too obvious to me.
