it must be another glich, but when i have a line of sight, and a ranged weapon, i can attack doors!

...nothing happens.. but, wierd!

Yeah, sometimes I shoot the door when I mean to hit the bad guy, and it pisses me off!

actually, when i mouse over the door, i get the cross hairs with the % to hit even, like its a bad guy

OK. I see nothing, but if I point at the door and click, it will say something to the effect of "You hit the door, but it causes nary a scratch".

Actually, you can even hit the floor.

if you hit the right door with a powerful enough weapon, then you can break through the door.........shit like gauss and pulse ought to do the trick

Try with a rocket launcher and you'll see why you can aim doors...

Energy weapons do the trick , even a laser pistol ( do little damage ) can
break through a door , at least wooden doors , never tried with steel doors

Destroying doors is one of the few uses of grenades. They suck in normal battle so why not use them to get somewhere where you shouldn't be? :twisted:

alternatively just chuck grenades around all over the place... you're bound to hit something even if it is yourself.

Doors are often indestructable. experimentation with explosives and rockets have come to no avail on numerous occasions.

You can use the 'stealth' approach on doors. Try to pick its lock with a set of lockpicks or simply use the lockpick skill. I don't recommend this though, cos those evil door bastards can be sneaky and dangerous. They might have a trap! Do a favor to humanity and kill em instead. Those damn doors...

Doors have a right to close in your face , just because they are a younger race it doesn´t mean they should be considered evil .
