i would like to steer dackers towards the "maakies"/drinky crow series of animated shorts by tony millionaire, which imo are real pre-internet classics of retarded black humour. the animation is also quite great (reminiscent of crumb). see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijOMH8iWhrg and related.

a pilot for "the drinky crow show," loosely based on those original animations, aired on adult swim last week and it looks like it's going to be picked up. it was pretty alright (typical adult swim fare) but not as strong and bleak as the originals imo. discuss?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
