...but never had the courage to express that in the internets. I'll start.
The Godfather Part II. I've received some good ad hominem sweaty man rage at the Codex for simply saying "boring as hell".

Tell me about it. At least you didn't have to watch it constantly for a week and write a twenty page thesis on it.
As for me, well, I find most 80's horror films to be unendingly boring, even and especially "classics" like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street.

I don't really find movies that boring because I usually stop watching them if I find it boring? I guess you could replace boring with suck but then you have a whole list of movies that suck. I guess the most boring type movies for me are anything from Lifetime TV channel which plays womens drama shit all the time and my mom always watches them. They are all practically the same with a womans x-husband stalking them and she has a new man who trys to help. You know the story and I don't even have to tell you anything more about it.

I currently watch Once Upon A Time In The West. Coincidence? dun dun dun
It's indeed very boring, but I like Bronson, plus it's a classic, so I keep on watching, unf.

You mean the Call of Cthulhu or that aberration with Tori Spelling (my avatar
)?

Search the IMDB OUATITW boards for any threads expressing a negative reaction to the movie. Works with the Citizen Kane one, too, methinks.

Wouldn't you, like, develop tolerance for boring movies this way, ultimately enjoying them?

Grudging respect, certainly. Enjoyment? Not so much. I rather like the film, much as I like most of Leone's films. It's extremely solid, but what enjoyment I got from it in the first few viewings is kind of gone now. There's no drama to it for me because I've mostly memorized it.

nah, I just wanted to piss you off, I didn't watch a Cthulhu film
Thing with those online film rating devices is that it's a giant circle jerk mostly, with a few head nazis on top.
If you write something against their beloved "classics", you get an instaban.

Kill Bill.

Kill Bill was pretty tedious at times. Even if the screen is full of "action" it can get boring, fast.
Seven Samurai really was boring. Especially when in Finland they just can't possibly figure a better time to air it than after midnight. On Tuesday.
