How good will the game be?

I think that if the gameplay and story are as good as the trailer, and it adheres reasonably to the history of fallout, it looks to be FUCKIN' FANTASTIC!

I think there will be a lot of cool Fallout elements, like dogmeat, SPECIAL and neat locations, together with a lot of sucky stuff, like bad dialogue, linear story railroading, and crappy FPS shooting. Mediocre on average.

I'm still not so sure SPECIAL will be cool. It depends on how it's implimented, which I don't believe we've heard/seen yet, and knowing our luck, it'll be horribly implimented.

Which is probably why the combat isn't turn based.

This game is gonna be a mix of Postal 2, Oblivion, Max Payne, Resident Evil and Fallout.

Trust us guys, its gonna be awesome.

I don't know I still have some faith left in Emil and what he's done on dialogues and non-combat playstyles. However I
m obviously sceptical about combat and view

Oh well, it's not going to be like Fallout (1) but it can still be a neat game - with fine setting, Pipboy feat. radios, radiation factor, mature content etc.

I reckon it'll prolly land somewhere between 'great!' and 'so-so'.
Unless dialogues turn out crap and there's more idiotic stuff like mutant's look and nuke handgun - then it'd be a laughable abomination. :sadsmile:
