I don't think that was the problem. Dungeon Siege finished filming before they even secured the actor for this film I think. I'm not so sure if this guy is a step up or below the originally reported Vin Diesel. He kinda looks like a giant man-sized baby in a suit.

Even with David Bateson, the film(s) will be utter shite.

Worst possible actor choice. The kid looks like a new-born.

Hes played the bad guy in Die Hard 4. He was decent though a bit young and not very buff.

Looking back, I probably agree and I also thought the police side of the story was fairly weak too.

I don't like the whole "I'm a goodie-good two shoes and I only kill bad people, naughty men, ditto" -setup. He's a fucking assasin, who's supposed to kill people for the highest bidder. Even in the games you were supposed to kill people in a UN convoy and shit, the "naughtiness" of some of the victims was quite debatable, like this one computer geek eating potatoe chips in the basement, you hacked his head off with an axe... no evil russian mob bosses to be seen

Hitman is supposed to be, at least up to some point, an anti-hero. Besides, the actor looks like he's 14 and barely has any pubes.

There is nothing more awesome than randomly shooting East-Coast nerds.

All of the sudden, the idea of casting Vin Diesel doesn't seem so awful, does it?
