It looks pretty good, I'll go see it for sure. Besides, the guy who directed the ORIGINAL saw directed it.

Makes me kinda wanna rewatch "Deathwish." I'll see it though simply cause it looks decent enough.

Where is this generations' Charles Bronsons?

Lee Marvins?

James Coburns?

Clint Eastwoods?

All metrosexuals now.

Take me back to the Reagan era.

I was asking myself the same question while watching The Dirty Dozen last week. In more bad news the cunt that made SWAT and The Fast and the Furious is remaking The Wild Bunch. Fuck. Seriously the best we can do is Jodie Foster in Neil Jordan's new vigiliante flick, then again after she showed how big her balls were in Inside Man maybe this isn't too too bad?

Ya, the old school is dead, we can still rewatch and remember the old films, though, if we want to. :belmondo:

I find Crank and Harsh Times enjoyable from the newer movies and Harsh Times has an over the top asshole in it which is something at least albeit he lacks the decency and style of the real heroes.

It looks rather boring and cliché, actually. Can't wait to see it :D

What's so special about that then?

I'll probably rent it and forget about it the next day.

Ewww, why? What's the point without Cassovetes?

Crank
Right now Statham and some of the Hong Kong guys are our only salvation given the continued pussification of the American male.

Hell even in the 80s & 90s we had Sly, Ahnold, even cheese-balls like Seagal, Chuck Norris and Van Damme, Kurt Russel, Sho Kosugi

Yeah I said Sho Kosugi motherfuckers.

John Cassavetes was in The Wild Bunch? What? William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Warren Oats and Ben Johnson yeah, John Cassavetes no (although the man is one of the biggest badasses in film history).
