Duck and Cover

This is a topic where we collect, list, and discuss all of the bad things that are confirmed in FO3.

If I were a moderator or something I'd make sure it were discussion only concerning such, but as it's DAC, I know this will probably just end up a normal discussion.

The Combat - both the real time portion and VAT's. They sound horrible, especially when combined. VATs, to me, just comes off sounding like a cheap "Special Moves" bar so you get more then just pulling a trigger.

Nyeah, VATS seems like a half-assed attempt to appeal to fans with a major game feature. Too bad they have no idea what fans want.

Or what constitutes a good gameplay feature.

First person view.

RT Combat/VATS.

Story.

Location.

IN doesn't affect speech options.

less obvious things:

liam neeson
loads of mandatory combat, probably (if the subways that are crucial for going from location to location are filled with scary monstaz)
all the schematics sound like they're from a fantasy game (wacked out rock hurlers would belong in arcanum, but they're not something that a practically-minded survivalist would build)
you have to play as a honkey

"moral shades of gray" being simple black and white.

stats seem to not matter for gameplay choices, they may enhance but as said, no stupid(and if they won't even put that in, we can be sure of other options left out as well)

It will suck.

Quests seem to have distinct 'choices' and not mystery ones.

Just a minor addition to this point:
In the original games, you can often run into hostile situations you DIDN'T want to gun out of. This meant tactical retreat.
First person vs. Overhead gods view give two very different feels to a tactical retreat.

How about sneaking? I remember the covert glory if making a sneaky character... how the fuck is that possible in gunblivion?

HDR, bloom, shine, glow, "realistic physics"

i could take a shit on those graphics and the game still would sell.

sneaking, speech, barter, how bout outdoorsman for avoiding/choosing random encounters? and i bet fucking money science and repair have been butchered for their gun erosion fapfest

No child killing

Invincible children wandering the wastes, while surviving Fatman blasts that would take down Uber-boss mutants!

Multiple shots of Fatman that a swell guy could live through, after which you could shoot a barbie doll at it w/ a slingshot and win. With a single shot.

The Behemoth...[/absurd] The power armor too.
