Opinions Quickly!!!

I am thinking about seeing "Thirty Days of Night" tonight - about vampires terrorizing a small Alaskan (far northwest USA past Canada) town - based on a graphic novel (which I read and was confusing, but I liked most of it) - I am leaving in one hour. What does anybody think if they've seen it already???

You shut your mouth "sarge". Bow to your commander
Its probably cool if your into vampires in alaska
type films. I'll probably watch the non-cam version
when the nerdz get back to manning the internets.

yeah it was pretty good. No "OHMGZ" moments - but no "well that was stupid" moments either. Decent. I give it a 6.5 on the vampire meter. Hey.....maybe I should start a movie review column......

I'm much more eager to see I Am Legend and laugh at Will Smith's pathetic attempts to act in a quite demanding role.

I've been meaning to read the comic forever, it's supposed to be pretty good.

I kinda wanted to see this movie but vampires are kinda played out. It would of been cooler if it was some sort of freakish monster or something original, but then it wouldn't be based on the comic. I was bit surprised to see Josh Harnett in the movie, I thought he went all stylistic with his movies for good.

That's because they're both set in Canada where it's really fucking cold.

Wasn't The Thing set in Antartica or the Artic or somewhere equally no-where?

I would recommend the comics if you can get ahold of them. Wiki 30 days of night to find all the titles and compilations
