Melee characters

Im having trouble making a good melee character for MP..(10k)

which is better to focus on: unarmed or melee?

should i even bother with the divine favor perk?


im sort of a *shudder* newb at this game, so any help, tips, pointers
in creating a good melee character would be very appreciated.

Melee is the better one to focus on to get through all the armour other people use.

Don't bother at all with Divine favour and take your charisma down as low as it will go to give you some extra points.

You might want to get some drugs to increase your abilities as well.

Also, you might want to have a little bit of skill in small guns in case things get too long-range for your char.

I recommend, for a 10k melee boy:

-Ripper
-Power Fist
-Tesla/Metal Armor (Probably Tesla, for vs. Laser)
-ST 8
-PE 5
-EN 8
-CH 2
-IN 5
-AG 7
-LU 5

For perks:
-Slayer (of course)
-Toughness
-Lifegiver
-Loner

Then, in the fight, immediately use a Buffout and a Voodoo. Then get partying. Hoorah!

You gotta give them an AG of 8 min. That way you can get slayer. Also give them a LK of 6 so that you can get Better Criticals.

I forgot to add that. I usually take most of the Gain perks, so I take Gain Agility and put it at 8 before taking Slayer. Same with Gain Luck.

Also, if you can...Take more than 1 Voodoo. I usually take 6-7 if i use drugs. I also take some Traumer. I think it was 4-5, but i forget now. :?
