We went to a new theater that opened up near us and it has rocking chairs which is pretty cool but everything else was kinda dumb. They had some crippled lady ripping everyone tickets right when you walk in (basically like 10 feet from the door) from the ticket machines and she was slow as hell or something because the second you walk in your bombarded by people waiting. It was pretty dumb of them, quite noobish to the theater business it looks like. Eventually they will learn to move it from the lobby to the actual choke point to all the movie theaters. All in all it wasn't worth it and we will just go back to our regular place.
The movie was pretty much the same as the first one but not as good. The first one wasn't that good but I guess it was entertaining to watch them figure out little mysteries that involve history and the like. Cage does a british accent for a bit and it was kinda funny though I'm sure megatron would find it not a true authentic british accent.

I don't get how so many people are going to see this. Wasn't the first one bad enough? Nicolas Cage forgot how to act or something. Wicker Man then Ghostrider. Not even the trailers for National Treasure 2 look good. Fuck, they managed to make AvP:R's trailers look awesome and it's supposed to be worse than the last, which is an amazing feat to accomplish.

Probably has to do with the fact not much else is out. I already saw I am legend ,and sweeny todd isn't my type of movie. More than half the movies I see at the theater aren't about just seeing the movie, its more about just doing something. There are only a few occasions when there is absolutely nothing out that we haven't already seen or don't want to see and we end up staying in. During xmas break tons of people go to the show, or at least they used to. I remember the days after xmas I've never seen a theater get so packed, I had to fend off people because i was saving two seats for my mom and sister while they got snacks. It was the catch me if you can with tom hanks and decaprio.

The National Treasure movies comprised in a few sentences.
Grandiose logic followed by nothing to explain how anyone knows anything.
Retarded use of non-compatible technology to crack into random security devices.
Retarded use of myth, legend, and conspiracy theories for plot continuance.
Random and infuriating situations involving absolutely bullshit premises and/or impossible stunts.
Are the movies bad?
Yes.
Are they mindlessly entertaining?
Yes.
