Don't know much about it, but it looks good for shits n' giggles. There's a trailer.

Looks a bit like 28 weeks later with influences from trashy post-apoc movies. The gang outfits and makeup look a bit ridiculous and I hope there's not much kung fu shit going on. Doesn't look like a very good movie to me, but I'll probably see it just because it's post-apocalyptic. Oh, and nice ass.

28 weeks later, Mad Max movies, Waterworld, Tank Girl... all things that went through my head when watching the trailer. This seems to be a fusion of like all remotely post apocalyptic movies ever made.

If there is no Fallout reference, then I'm happy, because this movie will be a disgrace to the post apoc genre.

Looks interesting, but it'll probably be plot holes abound with excessive shaky cam. With that; who the hell is Neil Marshall?

He did a bunch of half decent horror movies like Dog Soldiers (pretty lame but extremely gory werewolf flick) and Descent.

Ah, seen Dog Soldiers, wasn't particularly impressive, although it did have a decent twist to the end if I remember it correctly. Is Descent worth a watch?

well it's a postapo flick, but I get the feeling it's gonna be like FOBOS. And the Bentley product placement's amount in the very trailer is just obnoxious.
I suppose someone saw 28 days later and thought "hey let's make money on something like this, but American way!"

So apart from bentley and the obvious postapo elements, what have we here..
-cool fighting scenes (AND in a token underground violent arena to boot! -at least some of them)
-cool tough colourful-gritty scary freaks
-cool car chases
-token "sexy" woman protagonist to attract people
-(the same) token woman tough protagonist to show some political correctness (not only men can be tough and you don't only treat women as objects in films) Pity she's not black and lesbian and not called Lynette.
-token white-beard sage
-Britain as location, which seems to be the fad of the day for (post)apocalyptic flicks

So with all this I rather expect cliche plot, paper-thin stock characters, kickass trailers, and popcorn munching crowds in multiplex cinemas. Bon appetit D:

Perhaps the only thing that looks promising about this product is Bob Hoskins starring in it. Hope he won't have too much to be ashamed for after this one.. D;

Bob Hoskins was originally why I started this thread. I was worried too. :google:

Once actors get old and demented, they sign contracts without asking their agents.
