A minor interview with a "world artist" working on Fallout 3 - Ryan Sears talks about the industry and his job, admitting it's "not all fun and gaming" -

"I can't recall a time I wasn't interested in video games," Sears stated. "I got an NES when I was young and have been gaming since."

"I would mess around with the level editors for games I liked and try to figure out how things worked," Sears recalled. "That eventually led to me getting interested in 3D modeling."

A little look into the hum-drum jobs of the gaming industry - you can read the whole article at <a href="http://media.www.jagbytes.com/media/sto ... tes.com
