Don't expect action. It's a very good drama, but the only real "action" part is at the very end, and only lasts about 2 minutes - but it's a very satisfying 2 minutes.

I wouldn't say that. The film has 3 "mini-apocalypses" whether they are interpersonal, elemental or physical. Also just hearing Daniel Day as Daniel Plainview is just so deeply satisfying. That is one misanthropic motherfucker.
