All the gamefags around the world buy Diablo II copies (coz their mums threw the old ones away) to "get back into it" coz Diablo has like t3h ubercomplicated supastoryline (lol dvl pwns urth!!!1) and the most complicated gameplay ever.

There is a mod that enables you to play with higher resolutions, like 1024x768 etc. I never tried it, but the community feedback on it was very positive, maybe you should have a look. I cannot remember what it was called though : (

That's because, in Diablo II, you play the boring hack-n-slashy parts and all the storyline stuff is packed into 6 cinematics.

It actually can be run in 2 modes, one of them actually does use flat 3d boxes with pics on them so that d3d can run it.
