I just saw Hellboy 2 and it was okay, pretty much on par with the first one. It felt a bit slow in some parts and like "okay we get it, just get to it already" type of feeling.
Gel Delrimo Del Toro or whatever his name is has some really good creature designs on stuff and a lot of it looked like real suits and not cgi like you would expect them to do. I don't know if he copied it from the comic books or what but he also had some good creature designs in that last movie he made with the little girl and the fantasy world. Pans Labyrinth that's the one.
If you liked the first hellboy then you will probably love this one.
Next week I might do batman, if people stop making fun of my movie choices

If it's like the first one, I'll probably go out and see this one. Just as soon as I can bribe someone with candy to come with me. Hate going to movies alone.
Batman and Bond are really the only other two movies I'm interested in seeing after Hellboy.
I liked it a lot. Most because of Ron Perlman, but generally it was funny, and managed to integrate in a bit of drama without it being the typical forced crap of most superhero movies. The one liners were good, and they managed to shove in a decent amount of action for a PG-13 flick.
Plus, it's hilarious at times. Though the ending definitely screamed "SEQUEL!", I don't mind more Perlman. Heck, I watched a movie on the Sci-Fi channel about mutant baboons because he was starring in it.
As far as the summer superhero rush goes so far Hellboy is number 1, Iron Man comes in second, and Hulk and Hancock....both come in a distant third. Batman looks to be a contender for number 1 though.
i fell asleep during the first hellboy and woke up to a big explosion, in your expert opinion mr. scooper if i was to see this movie, what would be the odds of me falling asleep again, and waking up to a big explosion?

As a qualified homosapien whom has yet to view this film. Your chances are around 10,000%/3. Of course that's a very rough figure but you get my point. So do I have the job?

Hellboy is the only movie during which I have fallen asleep, what a funny coincidence, isn't it, Gimp? However, I didn't wake up at some explosion, I think I woke up during some sewer part when he was chasing some bad guy or something.

Most likely you would fall asleep but I can't think of any majorly big explosions unless you were to fall asleep after like a minute or two of the movie. You fall asleep and not wake up until the cleaning people come into the theater and force you out so that they can get the next showing in quick so people aren't waiting outside.

I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW BAD IT IS."
Look it wasn't me, but I will defend the person who said it by saying that it was a purely an extreme type of action movie that included curving bullets.
