Battlefield Bad Company

Post by Dogmeatlives »

The game looks badass but I've heard there are some issues. Not sure what to make of it.

I would play just online multiplayer so don't give a shit about single player. Anybody play it or know if it's any good?

The environemt destructability is quite a nice upgrade, but i would do what denister says. If you get the special forces mod then you will likely have as much as there is in this game sans the single player story mode i think you get.

ANd rred faction was totally awesome, but no other game really brought it back. i am willing to bet that farcry 2 is going to do destructability and then say it is revolutionary. what? for like 1999?

I played the demo alongside my bud, we seemed to come to the conclusion that it was good but seemingly not so much as COD4. That's probably cheaper by now, just go pick up a copy of that.

Red Faction was, beside the destructability thing (which was also quite well done in Silent Storm), a rather nice first person shooter on itself.

Number 2 fucking sucked though. And if you wanted good graphics round the time it came out you just had to play max payne. Hopefully developers will realise that we love blowing EVERYTHING up. And no, fracture is NOT going to be any good. :Lucasartssellout:

They are making a Red Faction 3. There is video of it on youtube I think. I don't know how I feel about it.

I really must be the only person in the world that thought Red Faction was a pile of shit.

Considering it was A. a console FPS before they were popular and B. made by Volition who had no experience with FPSers it was pretty good.

I just want them to stop fucking around with their Saints Row/RF franchises and make another Freespace game.

Red Faction had a fairly good setting and sweet action. Didn't care about digging holes with my rocket launcher.

Yup, the whole worker's revolution thing on Mars was pretty sweet deal.
