I got hooked on this series.. first because Summer Glau is one hot terminator babe but now because of the newly added T1000 babe whom also is the lead singer for garbage.
Theres not really much to say about the show. Basically John connor must survive, but so has the conditions which enable the resistance in the future to succeed.
The very first episode was very cool.
A spoiler on it if you havent seen it : The resistance sent an engineer back in time to make a time machine that could send people to the future.
Anyway.
The official MR Snake rating is 3 of 5 with an extra 3 points for lovely Summer Glau totalling in a 6 stars out of 5 possible.
Discuss...
edit: hmm I was sure there was a terminator smiley.. but guess not.

Summer Glau is quite the hot terminator babe. I haven't seen any of it, I meant to, but I missed the first few episodes and didn't want to start part way through.

I partialy agree, ya. But, Summer is hot, the action that switches back to the future is cool (i like that post apocolyptic survival scenerio, as i think most people do too). but without Schwarzenegger, terminator is not "THE TERMINATOR!!".
EDIT: oh ya, scince Terminator 3 came out already, we all know what is going to happen.

So it's not just some stupid kung-fu acrobat Terminator that "isn't human enough" (which would be a hackneyed recurring theme)?
How is the future stuff modeled?
Is it lite on the tactics/etc.? Are there minidrones, scurry bots, bioweapons, chems, little sensors airdropped all over the place, etc.?
I mean this as Skynet's stuff.

The Hunter-Killers... if you start to glimpse them, that might be interesting but in T3 the first aerial HKs were essentially useless... they fucking outsmarted one and killed it with a fucking kalashnikov. Douchebag prototypes

T3 had the hugest plothole.
How was a distributed Skynet going to work when massive nuclear war wipes out the networks, sattellites, servers, powergrids, etc. ?
Also, what about robo production base/etc. ?
And how about training alternate John Connors?

Actually. This series takes no consideration to Terminator 3 so from the eyes of The Sarah Connor Cronicles, Terminator 3 never happened.
Zing!

Probably for the best.
As Redeye mentioned, the EMP was a gaping hole that wasn't explained in the movie and it's good that they are giving themselves a second chance... sad that Arnie's final contribution is, at this point in time (maybe always has been), a complete waste.
What's more is that, if the singer from Garbage is a TX (assuming I'm not mistaken), then Connor ('fantastic' actor Nick Stahl) would have already recognized it in T3
More confusion than an extended conversation with Blargh

I can't take the low budget of the terminators or, in actual fact how they are just capitalizing on the good story line with a new shit one in the form of a pussy ass series. Like in how stargate was cool, and then the series came out and turned it into low budget star trek.

Stargate sg1 was not a low budget series. It was a good show with a little twist to the original stargate movie.
Yes I did know Terminator 4 was coming out. If Christian Bale is in it you know it will be good. He seemes to pick the best movies to star in, except the Dark Knight which to be honest wasnt that great.

Supposibily Ahnold makes a cameo as a T-800. Not a starring role, but certaintly isn't bad.

Cute that they can beg and pry to twist a fucking governor's arm into reprising quick cameos for movies
