City of Ember

It's a kids film, wanted to see it anyway. It's a cross between Dark City, THX 1138, and Fallout. The story takes place in a giant underground city, built to protect the citizens from the apocalypse taking place above. Their generator (water chip) is breaking down, so the kids want to find a way out while the corrupt mayor (overseer) steals all the food and ends up getting eaten by a giant mole rat.
7 out of 10 because of underused characters. Otherwise a good film.
