Lost Website, dead Frenchwoman... a loss to all of us

There used to be an old Mad Max website, oriented towards "the road" and driving on it. She commented on her youthful desire to visit Death Valley. The site she made was about getting there and being there.

She bitched about the price for gas/etc. before she died. Hit by a bus or something stupid. She also commented that she originaly did not find Mad Max (Gibson) sexy.

I remember a related/connected site having a comment by a French user who said that the site "gave not only a way IN but also a way OUT."
That was probably just another site.

Does anyone here remember our Lost Sister?

I have tried for years, but I cannot locate the lost information.

I remember what you're talking about. The site was max.org or something to that effect. It was a very nice site with the best Mad Max pictures available. A lot of behind the scenes stuff I don't know how the hell that person got a hold of. I spoke briefly with the webmaster (I'm pretty sure it was a guy) then his family who reopenned the site shortly after his death. I dunno what happened to it because that was years ago.
