Was googling a song I couldn't put the name on which I heard on Californication which turned out to be lynard skynard. Song rocks so I youtube it and find Guitar Hero , a game I plan on getting along with the Xbox.
While on youtube you can see other related shit and I find the holy grail.

3's and 7's by Queens of the Stone Age. I am a big rock fan, but I also like trance and rap and whatnot, mostly listen to rock though, used to listen to Queens of the Stone Age too thought they were cool but never looked any further than the first album.

Anyway this song rocks, goddamn, they hit the nail with this one. I do plan on getting the album even though its bootlegged.

Thoughts? And for once, be serious unlike most of my posts this one excluded.

Download version is much better but youtube will do.

I saw QotSA years ago when they supported Foo Fighters @ Hyde Park. They were fucking terrible.

This song however is not. Listened to it a couple of times and it just gets better.

Nice song.

I always thought QotSA had a few good songs, but whenever I got a hold of their albums, I was disappointed.

Maybe a best of would be the solution D:

Brings everlasting happyness, clarity and servantship towards MR Snake.

Most of their albums do suck but some songs stand out like this song is the best on the entire album they released along with this song.
Ashame for musicians with so much talent.

Your average rock 'n' roll song. What's the dealio?

Hardly average. Try playing that song.. must have been a bitch to perform live.

Anyway I like it, and that's what counts.

Got all the albums, used to love them but the recent stuff just seems to tame by earlier standards and i've really just heard them to much now.

Infinity is their only decent song. And I agree with Stainless, one of the worst live performers I've ever seen.

Well all the black metal fans I know justify their claims of their music's betterness with this 'it's so fucking hard to play' -card. If it's hard to play and it still sounds like shit, SUPRA-BA-SURPRISE, you fucking suck at song writing.

I thought the infinity song was meh nothing special.
I never said the song was good because of it being hard to play, I actually like the song alot.

Point being on the hard to play remark was that it is hardly an average rock song. An average rock song would be what bridgeburner linked to with Infinity.

I like metal music myself, not all like some fanatic, just the stuff I think sounds good.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with how hard it is to play or perform live.

Southern rock and blues rock are the only ways to go. :thesouthshallriseagain:
