It was pretty awesome. Good start to 09 (screw "select cities") and hopefully it'll be better for movies than 08.

I liked it but that little Korean kid was pretty annoying sometimes, especially at the end when he was required to act a bit more.

Exactly. Eastwood was the only one who stood out, and even then, he doesn't have everything he used to.
I liked the movie, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was, you know... amazing.

I don't think any of them were really professional actors in a serious sense. Also I have always been bothered by the lack of quality in alot of Clint's movies. I love the guy, but there is always something big missing to make his movies really spectacular. I don't know... thats just how I feel.

That's exactly how I feel. Especially the movies he directed. The man's way past his prime and I think he's ruining it by making mediocre movies. I get

Unforgiven was good. I didn't mind Million Dollar Baby, but Mystic River ruined a fantastic book.

Mystic River ruined the portion of my life where I sat through it's 86 hour run time, I don't give a fuck about some book.
