Dawn of War II Beta

Its pretty fun, it has all the armies and all the commanders, full tech trees and five multiplayer maps. Its fun, I mean, real fun; more so than Company of Heroes. This game is certainly living up to the hype. Its well optimized, runs smooth and fast like a Kenyan.

This might be a stupid suggestion, but did you include hyphens? Two of my friends were bitching about theirs not working and it turned out they didn't include those when they entered their CD Keys.

As for mods, since its running on the Essence Engine (the CoH one) I would find making mods for it difficult, but there's been a large community backlash against Relic and a really big petition has been going on for a while now about it. Not sure whether it'll work or not. The downloadable content will be free, and people that have pay accounts aren't going to get any bonus' or extra material. Relic has promised players that much.

You get the key by owning Dawn of War: Soulstorm, but if you don't have that its going open beta on the 28th.

I bought it over steam and you get to play the beta.

I originally thought this would be an rts in the style of red alert 3. At first I was appalled but am now pleasantly suprised. Quite a good game.

Getting access to the beta was quite honestly the only reason I bought it. Don't know how you got "3 Jovial Spatula" from SenisterDenister. Kudos from that, must've taken some bit of brainstorming there.

Only races available for DoW2 is Tyrannids, Eldar, Space Marines and Orkz. I imagine other races will be added like they did last time.
