I chose to do my Flash Animation class midterm and final in the Tankmen aesthetic. After I finished up with making the first character's unassembled parts, I talked with Jeff Bandelin (JohnnyUtah), and got his approval on my work thus far. Take a look at the preview pic:

This is the basic Russian infantry, and though I don't plan on making them just yet, I also have a Japanese and British guy I plan on making, as well as unique tanks for all three.

How kind. But no- this isn't the final project. This is just a component.

read that article mang. it's a tutorial on animating characters in flash. your art's looking pretty good but antimeasure is right, the tank is pretty flat and lifeless in motion.
when i was taking a flash class that tutorial helped me out a lot so hopefully you can glean something from it.

You guys do realize, that the only animations present are the treads and the wheels? It's not actually moving anywhere and the engine room on the rear of the chassis isn't shaking.
Like I said, this is not only my FIRST flash animation, but it's not even done. I've just been showing Caleb occasional progress updates and he seemed to like it.

Okay that kind of implies that the tank animation is done just a tiny bit.
I don't know why you're being so defensive.

Oh, no no-- at the time I had meant that the animated movieclip of the Tank itself is done. The Flash ani as a whole is still underway.
Here's the current progress update.
Music is called "Landfall"; those of you who have played Castle Crashers will recognize the song from the Volcanic levels. I think some error occurred today in the audio, but I have to double-check that. Otherwise, I only need to put in a couple more things before submitting it.

I dig it..while not of the whole :artfag: quality that some flash projects have come to take on it's definitely workable and I could see it being put to use.

i think maybe the music is longer than the animation loop and it runs over? pretty :rust in peace:
