IPLY will post Q2 2002 results on the 14th
[Company -> Update]
In case anyone is interested in how Interplay did during Q2 2002, they've released a press release stating that they will have a call in conference on August 14th about such matters. Here's the juice about that:

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Interplay Entertainment Corp. (Nasdaq: IPLY - News) will release its results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2002 after the close of the market on Wednesday, August 14, 2002.In conjunction with this release, Interplay will host a conference call for analysts and investors. Interplay Chief Executive Officer Herve Caen and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Gonzalez will review the results for the second quarter and discuss the Company's outlook for the future.The conference call will be held at 4:30 p.m. Eastern/1:30 Pacific. The domestic dial-in number for the call is 888-881- 4892. The international dial- in number is 416-640-4127. Participants should dial-in 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled time so the call may begin promptly.
Also, for those who don't wish to call in and listen to the meeting, there will be an audio log posted at Interplay's web site later that evening.Given that they sold Shiny for nearly $60 million, I'd expect them to talk about how they made a huge profit in Q2 2002. It also wouldn't shock me if they announced that Interplay was no longer in the "red" as of Q2 2002.Now on a more sour note, per this <a href="http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/020523/deth ... ncement posted on May 23rd, it looks like IPLY has seven days before they get delisted from NASDAQ if they don't get their stock up to $1/share. As of right now, IPLY is sitting at $.29/share.

Yeah, I read this on gamespy news ( :oops: ). Intersting news. Heh, what are the odds that IP stock will triple over the next weeK
The more and more I think about it, it seems more and more likely that FO3 will be anounced. While there *are* rumors of PST2 ( a chat with CA on Gamespy a while ago), it just dosnt seem likely, primarily
A) Dispite the fact that it did not sell as badly as alot of people think, it did not sell very will when compared to either FO1or2.
Kudos to SaintieP for getting this up so quickly.

"On the bounce, you apes! Do you wanna live forever?!"
I'd imagine the Fallout license would go to either Titus, or someone they owe money to, but it won't disappear, probably just end up in potentially worse hands.

They're sitting at $.28/share right now too. That's pretty much the trend for IPLY, it hovers between $.20.share and $.30/share.OnTheBounce wrote:Ugh...they closed at $0.28/share...

It is interesting that they're waiting until after the delisting date to hold that conference though. You'd think they'd have held it before the 13th in hopes of boosting the stock that way.
