Duck and Cover

I watched these guys alot on YouTube, and picked up thier first season today. I think the general story arcs and stuff are pretty funny, but some of the songs they interspace through-out the episodes range so much from being awesome or utterly shit. I feel like I'm panning for gold.

Actually a very well-spoken metaphor for their show.

I feel the same way, except I get this nagging feeling that the haphazard song quality is supposed to be some pretentious meta-humor that kinda isn't that funny. Probably just me though.

Funny monolouge, but the music is just not that good.

Would that I could rid my mind of their memetic asininity.

A show lampooning hipsters. Could be funny if it weren't for one inherent contradiction: lampooning hipsters is a favored hipster pastime, as no hipster thinks themself a hipster.

I enjoy the show, some of the songs are good, though I enjoy just the regular sitcom portion much better. I think Murray might be the best character.

Season 2 is on HBO now, FYI - and the entire episode is for free if you'd like to watch it.

I saw a bit of a song on youtube and they were pretty funny but there only so much that spoof songs will make me smile.
