FO3 Wins an Award

Post by POOPERSCOOPER »

[ Game -> Update ]

I guess it won an award at the GDC conference or whatever;

Following a tally of thousands of votes from various game developers
and professionals, Bethesda's post-apocalyptic action-RPG Fallout 3
(PC, PS3, 360) was named Game of the Year at last night's Game
Developers Choice Awards.

Bethesda's effort also came away with Best Writing award. Media
Molecule's cutesy PlayStation 3 platformer was also heavily praised,
coming away with four different awards for its Game Design, Technology,
Innovation, and a Best Debut nod.

Won best writing? How can they take themselves seriously? I bet you the whole FO3 development team went and voted for it. You can read the whole list of awards here.

Spotted @ Shacknews

That right there is the AIG keyword of circlejerking with your peers. Fucking 'tards.

Best Writing.

Yeah guys don't be too harsh on GDC. They're probably hard-boiled professionals who've played a lot more games than you have and know good writing when they sees one.

Sure it was "Best Writing" if the most literary thing you've ever read has been any of Stephen King's monthly novels.......

*edit*
I like Stephen King but lets face it... He's no Hienlan or Anne McCaffery
The AK-47. When you absolutely positively got to kill every mother#$^#&* in the room...... Accept no substitute.
