I've been reading and most of the changes seem interesting
The new playable races though seem neat, if the half of the new classes don't. Where's the caster Hero class?

I haven't played WoW since January-ish; I never made it to level 80 with either of my main characters.
The latest expansion more or less killed the game for me I think. Yes there were improvements but there were far too many homogenizing decisions going back to the Burning Crusade. There's no variety anymore, no individuality. Everything is the same between the factions, classes, and players.
Basically, it's gone down the PATH TO SOCIALISM

Looks very interesting. If anything I'd be glad to go through it as a social/casual player again.
But I think it'll be dumbed down too much by that point for any serious gaming. I'd rather go for the old republic mmo or even star trek.
Also this looks very, very interesting:

@ Smiley - I'd like to be the guy wearing a sweet blazer and trousers casting firebolt on headless, naked demons.
Smoking a Marlboro Red cigarette. Yeah!
on topic - I wanted that little Murloc marine but I thought blizzcon was at the end of this month. I guess it wouldn't have been wise to spend 39.99US to watch it on PPV anyhow.
The 2 biggest glaring issues I'm not sure of are
1) Changing a ton of the places I've grown used to. There were times the solitude of out-of-the-way places like Azshara were comforting, or maybe just nice and quiet from General Chat.
2) All the new classes for the races. Sure, a couple make sense like Human Hunter, but it seems like with their racial, and tracking, it's a rogue's nightmare. It reallly seems like they want every race to play every class, eventually. About the only things off limits seem to be Shamans or Paladins (and Druids, for everyone).
