hey guys, I was thinking about this a few minutes ago and I just wanted to hear your thoughts on the matter, so let's go:

while I think we all appreciate koc's efforts to keep us up to date on mad max remakes with charlize theron and any hot new fallout mmorgps, I also don't think any of us really care. I mean, we liked fallout, mad max and wasteland and shit because they came out of the time when pa stuff was still good, ya dig?

so hey, just my 2 cents, but wouldn't it be better for the site to focus on that sort of thing with, I don't know, a salute of the jugger review or two or mark morgan's home phonenumber instead of what is basically nma-lite?

Jim, we are first and foremost a Fallout website. Always have and always will be. We are also a post-apocalypse media website, which is why we cover things like Mad Max. We're not branching out to become a move over-arching gaming site or anything else.

where did I say anything about branching out?

edit: either you focus on fallout and mad max or you focus on fallout mmorpgs and mad max remakes, you choose the latter, but the former clearly fits the mold as well

I haven't really been posting much news since most of the news worthy stuff of FO3 has really started to get boring and I don't feel like we need to hear about the next release of Game of the Year edition. Also Dutch is here posting news and it's faster than my posting so I just let him do it, I think the Mad Max stuff is good to post here.

If I find stuff that I think is worthy I will post it and start to be more attentive perhaps.

megatron makes a good point about real world nuclear issues. I think that's a good way of branching out.Winter break I can help posting some stuff, but right now I'm pretty swamped. Also soon I'm hoping to relaunch Wasteland Radio with a new Co-host who has actual broadcasting xp, so there's that too.

I think posting news on real life events will help get the community more active in the forums and it'll give us an angle that NMA doesn't have.
