I'm pretty sure this is going to be my favorite game of the decade unless New Vegas tops it. Aliens and Predators are two of my favorite IPs of all time, and the original games were fantastic. This trailer is amazing:

Its banned in Australia already, and the developers/publisher said they won't alter it at all to get rated.

:(

Hoping I'll be able to just ninja it on Steam like alot of us did to dodge the L4D2 censored version

My computers are 100% incapable of running that game at a worthwhile resolution. I'll pass for another five years or so.

I've been following it for months. Will probably be doing nothing but playing for months to years after its release.

Fuck real life

it looks nice enough. i liked the first one a lot, the second one wasnt that great as it looked like rayman outside, all purple and ugly. survivor mode for 1 was best, hiding in the bunker.

Of course it works! You get a toy face-hugger. How could it not work?

Do you want to know why this game will be awesome?

Rebellion made the FIRST AvP first person shooter, and that game kicked all sorts of ass. It conveyed 100x more cinematic ambience in the vein of the alien and predator series movies than the second one ever did.

Rebellion made a hit the first time around back in 1999 I believe, and ten years later, they're going to knock another one out of the park.

I was wondering when they'd make a new AvP game.

The movies were utter shite, Paul W. Anderson should be ashamed of what he's done to the franchise.

I thought Alien vs Predator 2 was a good game, I don't understand why it gets all the flak it does.

Pro: Rebellion

Con: 360

I'm still undecided. It has an equal potential to turn up crappy as it does to turn up good.

I feel the same way with Crysis 2, I really want Crytek to do a good job with it but its going to be a multiplatform release. I just hope with both games we don't get just ports.

It's also coming out for the PC apparently, and case in point Oblivion was multiplatform and there were small, subtle adjustments to the windows game that were not present in the 360 version.

Unlike in the past where multiplatform releases were hamstrung in favor of the lowest common denominator (console) audiences, the industry is now redressing this imbalance.

And also, the second one gets flak because it wasn't like the first one, which was superior in every regard. Ie: It didn't feel like a TC made for one of those "deathmatch sport" games like Unreal or Quake.
