I'm actually glad to see other people have the same ideas about the James Bond franchise as I do.

Ja, I must confess I thought both the name and the 007 thing was just a cover. Considering there are at least 6 other 00x agents, and those seem to change from film to film and book to book.

if zion were a part of the matrix the film would be much less disappointing.

Very, very true. The writes on that page are pretty awesome. One of them is the author of John Dies At the End, and anything he writes is basically literary gold.

I didn't read the article, but apparently in the beginning, the James Bond created by Ian Fleming was not the gentleman spy that he is in the books, he was rude, violent and brutish.

I've been wondering about that part myself and the article actually made a whole lot of sense (as much 'sense' as sci-fi set in a galaxy far, far away in a distant past can make).
