I am still confused about how the Enclave is on both costs, same as the BoS. Are there like two Enclaves and BoS? And what about NCR? What exactly is the NCR?
Thanks, mate. :) I just have a few more questions:

1) How did the Enclave and BoS get from the west coast to the east cost with a whole huge wasteland separating them?
2) Are parts of the Enclave and BoS still on the west coast?
3) If so, how do they keep in-touch with their east coast brethren, or do they both kinda run their end of the country their own way?
4) Why doesn't the Enclave try to stop the NCR?
I think there should be 2 or 3 explorers in the wastes with unique weapons and armour that are just like a kind of guy like you who is powerful
A chanisaw.
A cane sword or guitar case gun (some type of weapon that can be used without being linked to you useing it)
Your own Turret
A gun that becomes a proximity mine after you drop it, (I've been playing Perfect Dark, something like the Dragon)
Frenchi SPAS-12 and Heckler-Koch MSG-90 sniper rifle (Germany)
how about a fallout that doesnt crash every ten to fifteen minutes. i know old concept been done etc well im praying this time they actually listen
How would i make my guy look like big boss (Mg3) . If u know who im talking about i just want to know what hair , armour and skills i would need. Also where would i find an eyepatch if ther is one. :gun:
i play fallout3 on the ps3, have played 700+hours in a single game, but have yet to find ANY type of armor that i can scavenge to repair my T51-b power armor? i doubt that there is, but i wanted to ask just in case. thanks in advance for replying to my question.
RONIN
I have lots of houses but I normally set up in Grayditch and/or Minefield. Best houses there. On Raider characters I live in Paradise Falls- pet Behemoth and a ton of Raiders to protect me from intruders.
ARG! It seems my computer's decided enough is enough!
Every time I quick save, FO3 goes to "not responding". Perhaps its cause I decided to sprint across the wasteland after typing "player.setscale 10"

But now after restarting the program about 7 times, its still not quick saving, which is bad cause out of habit I hit f5 every like 3-5 minutes
I'm a 360 fan, and most of the 360 games (may be on playstation 3 as well idk) have a zombie genocide ahievement. Left 4 dead, Prototype (this would be the only one for ps3), Dead Rising all have an achievemnt where if you kill at least 53, 594 zombies you get this achievement. I liked this achievement, It's hard to get, and once you get it you feel like you've done something with your life. Forget your first car, first love, and even first born child, thats nothing compared to getting this achievement. I just wonder why FO3 didn't have something similar. I would have loved to of been the ultimate biggot in FO3.
Hi,

I just got the game. I'm wondering if I can only install patch v1.7. Does v1.7 include all other fixes as well? Or do I have to install all previous patches individually.

As well, I don't play on-line so do I need to patch? I'm not sure if these patches apply to online gaming only.

Thanks.
I can't beleive I never bothered to look through beth's forums before. Hours of fun.

bethesda's forum is a great way to remind yourself that evolution and natural selection is a very loooong process.
ok i saw a pic on youtube and it was from a mag. and the little caption said something like this:looks like dogmeat is back.so yeah umm i was always annoyed by tht name because you know....he's meat or...what?anyways i think when and if we find him(tht goes to all those non explorers out there XP)maybe there will be a vet and we can name him or something like that

discuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus
So, what should be in FONV collectors edition?

I would like to see...
-Hard cover art book
-Some kind of metal package like FO3's lunchbox
`Cloth map or a poster (I like things that i can hang on my walls)
-Long making of FONV
-Some kind of figure like FO3's bobble head
- In game content

What do you guys think should be in it?
- Content
- map or poster( of what)
- What kind of case?
- what kind of figure?

If teh real collectors addtion has been posted like me i want to know about it.

I never saw the point of having a house in F3, I only bothered getting one on my first play through. I know it's for storage, but who cares? I just sold everything anyway.

this is now my official morning coffee activity.
Ok so I was thinking. Whay if you could domesticate wild animals in Fallout NV? I think it would be sweet if you could have a deathclaw!! Ha ultimate terror for your enemies when they see that thing running at them. What are your thoughts on the pros and cons of an idea like this? P.S. I [censored] LOVE FALLOUT!!!!!! :)
Alright now i know that Fallout is a single player game but what if there was a arena were you could go online and fight others and win caps, place bets on other fights, trade weapons, etc
i would rather have a human housekeeper... i want to decide what she looks like too haha

late for coffee.
I am wondering what people think on having modern Assault rifles in this game. Like ACR bushmaster, Robinson Armament XCR, AK 103, FN Scar, ect. I am mostly asking people who play modern ware 2 and if they would like to see there favorite gun in this game. I am also asking people who has an assault rifle and fired it. so you wana see your favorite gun in your favorite game. :D :gun:
would you like to ride a horse to places. Or have an old abandoned train being able to move across NV. I think that would be very cool since in Fallout 3 it took like 30 min just to get to one place if you haven't explored it yet.
this is the future. our future.

lolwut?
Well i was thinking and it would be good t put all sort of scrap and junk to wastelands in NV. Like when you get some parts of scrap you can adapt it to your Primary weapon llike bayonet or kind of optic or just for decoration. And also make new weapons with the junk founded,or just make a portable radar or make a shelter for night using scrap from ground and so. Good luck Bethesda
F:NV isn't being made by Bethesda.
I know its not by Bethesda but still i know why i said it.

Just In: the tables have turned!
The thing about Fallout 3 that I found especially compelling was the way that it captured the aesthetics and ideology that prevailed in the post-war/cold war era - the great 1940's soundtrack, the general conservatism of the era, the distinct advertising-style, references to 1950's sci-fi like the huge irradiated ants of 'Them!' and the other 1950's-like projections of the future that were in Fallout's world (nuke-fuelled cars with huge fins, laser-ray guns, robots with personalities). The way the game melded 1950's visions of the future with real world objects (like the AK Comm bloc assault rifle, huge 50's style cars, retro fashion, green-screen PC's, 50's style packaged products) made the game world seem like a fantasy but real enough to have real emotional weight when exploring. The early screenshots that have been released show a modern AR-15/M16. This seems really out of place. They should stick with WW2/post war era conventional firearms and 50's sci-fi like futuristic weapons. I also would like to see the green screen for the HUD/PC's/Pip-Boy - Who remembers a brown screen?? The other thing I haven't heard any mention of is nuclear destruction being visible in the world (apart from mutation effects upon creatures/people). Seeing destroyed abandoned buildings, the remnants of a lost civilization gave Fallout its distinct character the tied in with its overall cautionary message (amongst the pure fun) about nuclear war. I want to see bomb damage, not just a desert city with weirdos. The game still looks great but Bethesda have set the bar extremely high. I don't want to feel disappointed.
then there's this fucking popamole cunt who basically sums up your average Bethesda forum member in one post. brilliant!
•romantic relations (would be nice but i dont care too much)

•more than one house. but just 2 or 3 not too many. and one of them should be a mansion or just a really nice house.

•this one may be asking too much to id like to be able to start my own town or at least rule and have control over one

•some way to be able to carry more stuff. maybe you can buy a vehicle, a brahmin or a stagecoach kind of thing

•better sniper rifles and better sniping. sniping really sucked in FO3

•id like to be able to join factions kinda like in oblivion

•weather. not sure what it would be. im sure in a post-apacolyptic wasteland it would be different than it is now, but there should be some kind of weather

•area 51 if the game covers that part of nevada, even if it doesnt you could still make it into dlc

•able to become a ghoul

•railgun kind of like in MGS2 and MGS4

•higher level cap (40 or 50)

•more evil quests or more chances to do evil things....its fun

•longer main story

•more side quests

•make sneaking more useful. in oblivon sneaking was good and pretty useful. but in FO3 theres really no reason to use it. it doesnt help at all

•jobs

•casinos, nightclubs, and other LV kinda stuff

•more ammo for alien weapons

•slower weapon degredation
in a thread about romance (thank you Gaider, you ass) we find this pile of human win:
I agree their should be more, The dogmeat puppies perk made dogmeat's children pop out of nowhere!!? I never got to meet the mother or watch them concieve
Bethesda gamers really know what's important in an RPG:
I think getting trophies for gettting a complete set of collectables would be good.

This could include things like find 6 1million golden poker chips or finding all 52 cards for an antique card set, all scattered throughout the wasteland
