Resident Evil: After Life 3d
Look so it's like the 4th movie in the Resident Evil series but I only saw the first one when it came out and I saw a few parts of 2 and 3 on TV. It's based on the video game but from what I can tell it's just them using characters from the game and making story lines out of them. I saw the movie in 2d because we were kind of sick of 3d and I'm glad we did since the visuals are all pretty good and I think they would have been lost in 3d and if I have the choice in the future I'm just going to see movies in 2d. 3d wasn't really good in any of the movies and it kind of felt like it brought you out of the movie more than it brought you in if at all.
Anyways, the movie isn't that great it's basically exactly what you expect from the previews lots of slow motion action but as a benefit it doesn't really have much shaky cam. I think that is one good thing 3d has brought is that shaky cam doesn't really work too well with it maybe. Also the movie is by Paul WS Anderson the guy who directed AvP so we can make fun of him some more.
Of interesting note I was sitting in the theater and a couple in front of my started to create small talk to me and they were saying how they were big fans of the series and wanted to let me know that there is actually 3 other movies in the series besides this one to which I replied I knew that.

And running into the knights. As they're leaving, Sir Robin's minstrels (?) are singing, "Brave Brave Sir Robin, he ran away another day"Frater Perdurabo wrote:There's also the Holy hand Grenade!Yonmanc wrote:The only one I ever managed to come across was the guy by the bridge with the supposed magic robe which proved useless when I got to the Enclave baseManoil wrote:The furthest it will ever get is the random encounters in FO2.

good review pooper. i always like the real life bits best like when you talk to the couple or when your dad gets involved????
i can barely remember the previous movies. In the first it was just regulkar underground? then uh...the city. i think the third was also in a city? then the fourth was post-apoca with clones or some dumb shit.

Because RE5
just like FO3
just like the new XCOM
are all about establishing a new fan base for an old game. If they made a deep, introspective, though provoking movie based on Fallout the FO3 twitch gamers wouldn't have enough explosions and titties to find it enjoyable. You have to play to you [newly developed] audience.
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!
