Being located in Brisbane, I'm in the heart of mayhem and destruction.
Due to my survival skills and general paranoia I'm well supplied with everything. Gladly my place is at an elevated spot, so I can relax. If not, I'm prepared! TOLD YOU SO, ASSHOLES!

The Lockyer Valley has been flooded and many people were evacuated from the smaller towns and villages.
Helicopters are flying around constantly, a lot of them military, which is a bit scary.
75 % of Queensland is flooded.
One day before shit hit the fan I had a drive through the Lockyer Valley. Roads were already a bit flooded, but I was oblivious to what would happen over the following days. It's strange to know that towns I've visited days ago stopped existing.

Suburbs along the river flooded. Ipswich is flooded. The areas evacuated.
The Drift Restaurant in Brisbane has drifted away in the floods and is no more. A lot of damage to boat ramps, boats, houses.
CBD partially flooded.
The peak is expected around tomorrow.
