I'm semi-almost half-way done with the tiles for my next map, Revenge, so... yea, it'll be done before Thanksgiving :D

Then there's OTB's demo...

Which just needs a couple of fixes like some glitches in the dialogue that are inconsistant and one point where some text tags aren't working. I'm working on the last sprite for it as I type this: FO-style Nuka-Cola.

as for me, i'm still wonderin what i'm goin to do. i can try to finish my "Eden Facility" map... or chop it up and give away the parts. then again, i can just finish the "Arena" map by doin the sprites... (remember that, otb? hehehe  )

WB, I lost your Arena map when my hard drive crashed. After Quartz is done for good I have to start putting some time into finishing some projects around my house so I can get rid of it this fall. Then I have to search for someplace else to move to - maybe just an apartment for awhile :?

So I may have time to putter around with small projects or help somebody with their mission/campaign.

Well, I'm hoping for later today, or early tomorrow, actually. But I'm not going to make any promises since every time I do something comes up. ("It's a conspiracy!") I would have finished it last night, but I had this idea for another SP mission and had to start scribbling and slapping down some tiles before it vanished. It should be a decent mission, but you will have to play the RPGs in order to fully appreciate it.

Warbringer: Believe it or not I haven't forgotten about The Arena. It's buried on my gaming backup CD somewhere, along w/the email that contains the instructions. (Guess I can add that to the "To Do" list. )

You mean a totally new project, or integrated in IOOI?

The demo was originally going to consist of two SP missions, but I decided that I hated the first mission and shit-canned it. Then I came up w/another idea for a mission, but couldn't get anywhere w/fleshing it out. Basically, all I could come up w/was a title and a concept, but the inspiration dried up after that.

This new mission is called "Fall of the Hub" and takes place in the wake of FO1. If you've played FO you can pretty much guess what it'll be like, but I'll keep the specifics to myself. I mapped about 1/5th of the Hub the other night, but unfortunately didn't have any time yesterday. (I won't get anywhere today since I'm going to knock out the first issue of the demo today.) It shouldn't take too long and it should be a lot of fun. :D

I'm going to have to brave the tile editor for this one, though, since I want to use all of the signs from The Hub, e.g. The Maltese Falcon. It's just too bad that I can't put Floaters and Centaurs in the mission...

To answer the original question, it's competely, totally and utterly unrelated to IOOI. (But I gots ta do somethin' before Max has 20 missions out. ;) )

I really need to do a site update...

Eh, I only have 12 "out." 13 if you count the red-headed stepchild that was RoboCentral.

You've got plenty of time :D

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't hurry or anything

Oh, btw, since I won't be pursuing the mission idea that I dropped, I'll throw it out and if someone wants to do something w/it feel free to use it.

The mission was going to be called "Pipboy's Revenge" and I was going to have a squad of 6 Pipboys (Fallout Boy, actually, but the title sounded better the other way), each using a different Perk/Trait pic as the portrait, depending on the character concept they were built on, e.g. the technologist was going to have the "Tech Wizard" pic. The problem was that I couldn't come up w/a mission unique enough to justify the premise.

Like I said, if you think that's a nifty idea, feel free to develop it.

Uh, BBM2, as much as I agree with you about wanting OTB's demo, I doubt killing him would help much...

 I have to agree w/Ecneloiv_Xam here, BBM: killing me will not help the situation.

Just in case there's some confusion, the demo is coming out, I just changed my idea for the second stage of it. The demo w/one SP mission will be done...very soon. Then I will release the next version w/two SP maps and finally a third version w/2 SP maps and a 3-4 mission mini-campaign.

So does this mean you're thinking of making it a campaign of 6 missions or is that strictly for the demo? I can't figure it out from what you say...
