My basil seems to have gotten some kind of white dots and some leaves dried. I gave it the old Neem treatment and we'll see how I go from there.
Here's my list of herbs I grow:
Basil
Oregano
Sage
Dill
Chives
2 types of garlic chives
Mint
Chocolate mint
Plectranthus amboinicus
Thyme
3 types of Parsley
I also started growing a pineapple tree a while ago. Essentially took the green bit of a pineapple and put it in the ground and it grew roots and I now it's got a life after being eaten.
Also avocado.
Tried to grow prickly pear but birds ate it so I raged.
Does DAC have a herb garden full of mutated talking plants?

Good thread. I just got a grape plant and it hasn't been doing too well. Also I tried to grow a blueberry plant way too early and it died on me so now I can come here for advice.

your basil might not be getting enough light and/or water although if its like a mould or anything the plants diseased so you should chuck it before it spreads. maybe

We grow tomatoes, peppers, and squash. We tried strawberries last year but goddamn birds ate them. Built a net to go over them this year. My wife will have to do all the work though, seeing as to how I have to stay out of the sun (Doc's orders).
I had a coworker that grew amazing grapes every year. He keeps the vines pretty short so they grow thicker, not as many bunches but what little he had were super good.

We have a lemon tree that pretty much grows like crazy and is older than me. My mom occasionally uses the lemons to put in some water or squeeze on something but she mostly just gets that lemon juice from the store. We encourage people to take as many as they want because it grows so much so fast.
I think I tried lemonade once but then I realized how much work it is and you basically have to put tons of sugar in to make it taste remotely drinkable. Kinds of puts you off when you are trying to be one with nature but have to put tons of sugar and honey in to even drink it.
If we had an orange or apple tree I would treat it like a pet but it would probably die, the more you care for something the more likely it will die.
