my old faithful desktop machine died today.
I liked him. In an age where everyone uses laptops the humming of his massive fans was a cliff in an ever changing sea of handheld wankery.

I will buy a new one once I get time to actually play games again.
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

How does one input information into water vapor? I hear putting information "on the cloud" is a new trend, but from my understanding of science if I drop my hard drive onto a cloud it would fall right through.

Might just need a new power supply or battery (for the CMOS/clock).
At least keep the HD OFC.

Yeah might be the power supply. Upon startup something causes it to shut down after a few seconds.

If I can be arsed I'll try switching.

Could even be the on-switch itself.

(Disconnect it and use motherboard power button to test.)
