Starfield

Post by TheKingofVault14 »

Since it's initial release is next week, what are your thoughts on it? Are you excited? Intrigued? Hoping the game straight up FLOPS!?

What do you think of this original IP by Bethesda?

And BTW, for me I'm reserving my judgements until it's official release, if it's good SWEET they actually did something good for once! If not, POINT & LAUGH! That's how view it currently, because honestly it's of no use to me.

I saw some trailer that had zero gameplay footage so I don't really understand what the game is about or if it's even a game really, looking forward to probably never playing it

Ever since I saw gameplay where you reload a shotgun by ejecting round brass rifle casings from a square barrel I lost all interest.

Realism is a must in games. It's the linchpin for immersion, no doubt.

I assume he means something along the lines of "internal consistency." Lots of things nowadays lack that and feel like a hodgepodge of half-baked ideas and varying ovwrall quality and aesthetics.

Did any of you see the NPCS of the game? My gosh, they're even WORSE than the one's from Oblivion! Staring into your soul and crap, I don't know what's up with Bethesda, but bruh they're devolving.

Welcome to twenty years ago. They haven't made a good game since Morrowind.

You nailed it, SenisterDenister! Realism is about internal consistency in the game world, ensuring everything fits together. Inconsistent ideas can ruin immersion.

Ah I see! Makes sense, never really given something like that much thought, thanks for clearing that up
this made me chuckle a few times, it's like a devteam of aspie nerds who have never looked another person in the eyes tried to imagine what that experience must be like

I know I know, I've known about that fact for awhile now. What surprises me though is the fact they've been in a continuous downward spiral ever since, like my gosh, how can things get this much WORSE than before!? It's astonishing really.

It's remarkable how things can take unexpected turns, isn't it? Sometimes, the path of change is more convoluted than we could have ever imagined.

Here's a good & truthful review of the game:

Yeah, Elder Scrolls 6 & Fallout 5 certainly doomed, DEAD. ON ARRIVAL! :flamed:

And I cannot wait to roast Fallout 5 to hell when it's released.

Bethesda Customer Support, much like rad roaches in Fallout, resilient in their incompetence, surviving any attempt to exterminate frustration.

Did anybody see Emil Pagliarulo's breakdown on Twitter recently? It's flipping hilarious that he even said all of this, coming from him says DELUSIONAL! What an absolute clown, a circus this entire game and it's staff.

"Loooong🧵 (1/15)"

It's not that loooong when you can only see the first message without an X account :blowme:

Never understood why people insist on writing fucking essays on Twitter to begin with, just make a Reddit thread or whatever and put up a link to it if you really have to share your life story on the worst platform on the planet. Then again that shithole has never originated anything of value so I don't exactly feel like I'm missing out on anything, but I'm guessing it's something along the lines of: gamedev is, like, super hard and stuff and it's like a total bummer when people don't enjoy your shitty game? Gosh darn

I think if they had actually made most of the game in-house instead of pawning it off to studios and developers half the world over from India to Brazil they would have had better oversight and made at least a decent game. But they didn't so it wasn't.
