Duck and Cover

Think about making the brotherood , NCR , Vault city and others get in a war for the wasteland and pre-war towns , your character is a new - arroyo citiezien and needs to find a safe place for his family\people before the cold war gets a hot war , maybe a secret agent working for new-arroyo .
You need to find the only place safe in the wastelands the V13 !
or just stop the war !

What you think ? oh well we can use this story for FOT2 isntead ....

V13 isn't the safest place in the wastelands. The enclave knew the location, it has been inhabitated by talking deathclaws, what next? Besides, it's right in between the main locations of Fallout and Fallout 2, so it's likely to be found someday. A safe place would be somewhere in a mountaineous place, far away from post-apoc civilization. About the plot idea.. I don't especially like the 'save your people' setting. Sure, you had to save your vault in Fallout and your tribal village in Fallout 2, but leading a whole town(New Arroyo) to safety is, well, an ambitious plot suggestion but I'd rather explore the wastelands and do a couple of main quests as long as it's interesting.

Not in the Fallout forum. And it was the bad kind of flame. (It was just flame without any reason behind it).

They sure could use smth more original.

I liked the idea about preventing some war.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in about 50% of RPGs you have to save your people/world/kingdom from destruction or something else evil. That setting is getting boring, just because we've seen it so many times before. The main quest can be something different, still be very interesting and feel new and fresh. Dunno, I'm no game designer. :roll:

hey I just got a idea , remeber the desert rangers from wasteland ? Let's say whit all the techs the california raised again , San francisco , vault city , new arroyo and the brotherood joined the NCR , then as a ranger from borned from one of this places ( new arroyo ) , you and others go in the east wasteland to explore it and help the inabithants , then they find some enemy or just need to survive .... don't counting the FOT history and no haired deathclaws !

Kinda charity organisation? hehe actually no objections, but that ranger would have to be too well equipped at the beginning. I don't wan't to start the game with combat armor and poncor jackhammer.
