Would people willing to download an extra 2.5 Megs for a mission with a spoken dialogue?

As I don't think much people have anything less than 56k modems and (counts) that will take (counts some more) something around (counts) well up to 7 minutes, that shouldn't be a problem...

Not quite, I was just playing around with a sound program & photoshop last night. I pared down the intro a little more so it's only 1.7 Megs but it's really cool. I changed the pitch of my voice to make it more menacing and added a background track of synth notes.
I also figured the correct angle to distort in Photoshop to match the perspective in the game. You can numeric transform a regular picture 27° vertical for walls or billboards. Then it's just a matter of adding sides and you have a 3-d looking wall. Now all we need is tile editor.....[/quote]

Sonic Foundry Soundforge and Retro As-1 Keyboard - both are borrow-ware
- I borrowed them from a friend. They are older versions so they may be available somwhere, check zdnet for other similar freeware.
