For a Davide post, this got me thinking...
Anyone know if anyone else out there might have made a few Fallout Sims skins? I think do it myself, but I'd rather know if some freak out there has done it already.

Since I do some Sims modding as well (my work can be found at
www.geocities.com/utscw), I can tell you wouldn't be too difficult to do that. But I don't think it would be worthwhile; too much work for virtually no gain. I don't think Fallout and The Sims audiences have alot of crossover, and if they did, those fans probably don't want to combine them.
But now that it's in my head, I'll probably make a simple Vault 13 jumpsuit skin if I get bored enough.

I just got a great idea for my next skin, if I ever take up Tribes again.
It's just too bad the original Vault Dweller didn't have a jetpack and a spinfusor

Hate to resurrect an old thread, but I made a Sims skin based on the female Vault 13 jumpsuit.
Its not my best skin ever, and I may do a better one later on. This was made when I took a break from making my Tactics mod; guess I got Fallout on the brain right now.
It can be found at

Before my computer crashed in mid-April, I made a leather armored Fallout dude and the generic vault blues skins. When a sim wearing the armored skin went to bed, his pajamas were the vault suit. I didn't bother with the swim-suit.
After I finish reformatting and installing tonight, I might take up Sims skinning again.
For anyone that still plays, I've got a skin of me.
The Official ExtremeRyno skin.

The Official ExtremeDrinker skin. (Made this even before Livin' Large came out):

That's some good work. I can't make good male skins because I prefer to stare at a female character model while skinning.
Wow, am I a perv.

Anyone happen to know if there are any decrepid, retro-tastic objects floating around out there? I've got everything ever put on 7DS and 8thDS, but their version of trashy is too modern to make a good post-apoc home....More or less, I recreate the appartment I used to live in with the torn up sofas and the TV sitting on top of the broken TV. I've got around 7GB of objects and maybe 1GB of skins...I was an avid collector.

Only trashy stuff I was able to find was at 7DS. Its just torn up modern furniture and appliances.
I used it decorate the shack of my millionaire recluse.

What's with all these people who play Shadowrun who have come to DAC? We should start a Shadowrun forum, as it's pretty close to PA (bullshit, yeah). But it'd be super-awesome-rad.

About the point of any other video game or video game add-on: absolutely none.
