Or if it does happen, I don't know of anyone at BIS I'd really trust to do it or even if BIS has the freedom to make something close to Fallout.

I've heard from JE Sawyer that he prefers turn based RPGs to the more action oriented ones. He's got one in the works where he's in charge right now. It'll be interesting to see if he's given enough freedom to actually make it turn based.

I think BIS not developing Fallout 3 at the moment might be a good thing. I hope the circumstances are a lot better when work begins finally on Fallout 3.
