well guys i have good news, fallout 3 is to be released(in holland) in the 1st quarter of 2003. i have read this in a very good gaming magazine, i will make a scan of it this weekend.
well at least we can sleep well now......

Why this weekend? We refuse to believe unless you scan it immediately and tell us the name of the magazine, and if you do that, we won't believe you anyway, but at least you won't be considered a \4m3 rumour-monger.

Hey, we'd like to see this. In fact, I was told something nearly the same thing by Urquart's brother on NMA's forums.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, trying to quell the excitement...if Interplay releases in Holland, is US next? Or is Holland just behind the times and FO3 is actually FOT? I am amoung the thousands that desperately want another FO, albeit the traditional style or FOT style....I hope this is accurate.

Wasn't that in a gaming magazine earlier in the year. And why would it be released in Holland before anywhere else? What the hell is that putrid smell??

I think FoT is already released in Holland. Basically my argument against the post is that Interplay would probably tell all details to the world much time before releasing a FO game not a mere 3-5 months. They would like to be as sure as possible that everyone knows and goes to buy it on release. Could be that Console game maybe, if this wasn't a hoax(wild guess). Then again maybe the reporters were somewhat ill-informed and talked about FO Radioactive(which is 3 Fallout games in one package).

We all know it's funky information & that Iplay would be making a big deal if FO3 were due for Q1 2003. Perhaps they meant Lionheart?

Well if this is true im gonna have to learn whatever language they speak in holland. Wonder what it is?

first of all FoT is already out for i think 2 or 3 years now here in holland.
second, the gaming magazine that i mentioned is a good one, they only review PC games plus they are always well informed on release dates...
third, i wouldn`t lie about this.
fourth, ill hook up my scanner this weekend to my new computer and ill make a scan of the releases list.

and again ITS NOT FOT!!!! damn thats an old game!

btw when i read this i imidiatly mailed interplay about this cuz i couldn`t find anything on the site, this is what they replied:

so then i mailed the gaming magazine, and this is what they said( translated to english):

Fallout 3 is indeed not officially announced yet, but the CEO of interplay shot his mouth of accidentally in an interview with us and will concluded that there defenitly will be a Fallout 3 in the 1st quarter of 2003.
When this will be officially will be denied by interplay or if the title will be cancelled( Interplay has some big financial problems ), then we shall remove Fallout 3 from our releases list. Just let us hope that this action will never have to be done.........

p.s. the magazines name is: PC Gameplay, it`s only avaiable in holland, belgium and luxemburg.

probably the US will get it first( you damn lucky bastards), but still the release date could change offcourse.

I'm not going to get my hopes up. There's no reason for BIS not to have announced it.

I could be mistaken since I don't speak any Dutch, but I think it is safe to translate 4d kwart. 2002 as 4th quarter 2002. That's even closer than 1st quarter 2003. I would hope it is true but that says to me that this magazine is not very credible in it's projected release dates. Also, could this be a n "announcement" that the particular title is on the works?

I don't know, does Interplay/BIS/Whatever ever works in such secrecy before releasing a title?

Does it have Lionheart in the list? I would bet it was the rumor going around earlier this year about Fallout Fantasy which turned out to be Lionheart. Old, old rumor.

They state that every release date should be taken with a grain of salt.

indeed it does(lies and such, never ever was a release date made true, but thats with every release date). but this is a copy of last months edition, this months( the new one) i couldnt find on time for me to make a scan this weekend, just to prove im not a liar, maybe a casulty to someone else his lies, but certainly im not a liar.
but anyway, the release date shifted to 1st quarter of 2003

btw lionheart is also on the list(it says here: end 2002, by interplay, in holland btw), only on the next page, i could scan it too if you guys want, only i can just scan one a4 page at the time so........
