Is it possible to give him better armour?
I've tried and can't do it
I've done a search and hope I've missed something really simple if so

Nope. No armor never, never, never. And you can barely change their weapons.

That in conjunction with my remarkable psychic powers and my crime-solving ball of lint. As soon as you figure out he means Ian and not a Local Area Network, it's pretty easy to work out.

Well, the first problem for me was that I thought I was in the FoT forum. Then after I couldn't figure out what the hell a Lan was, I noticed that I was in the Fo1 forum.....and I still didn't have a clue what a Lan was.

Oh well, atleast you managed to figure out what he was asking.

The whole time I've though of him as Lan when it was Ian, my mistake
I have a freind called Iliya and some fonts on PC Software/mobiles, etc make the I's and L's look the same
Then again Fallout is a game, a damn good one at that, me is over it
