Lights: OSS and "Night Only"

I can't recall anyone mentioning this before, so I'll bring it up since I spent quite a while correcting this today:

If you have Lights that can have the OSS toggled, you must not have the "Night Only" field ticked/checked. The OSS can not be toggled when this field is ticked/checked, so any triggers you set up this way are a waste of time.

This is actually something of a "bummer", since if you're using something like triggers to simulate lights going out after a generator is knocked out you have violate the "tick/check the 'Night Only' field on lights that aren't completely indoors" rule. This will mean that your outdoor lights will give their area of effect that "washed out" look during daylight hours.

Good thing my current mission takes place in twilight w/night fast approaching. ;)

I've always thought night mission were so much cooloer than day missions, and this new info only serves to further justify that thought :D

I'm a huge fan of night-fighting. That's one of the advantages of SP missions, namely that you can control what time of day the action takes place. Could you imagine going into the core campaign's Freeport mission (the second mission) during the day? Half of the feel would be lost, IMHO.
