Fallout 2 movie

Post by Equus »

Just on the off chance does anyone know if the Fallout2 into movie is around on the internet?

We've been chatting about our favorite animations (and more specificly cartoons and cell shaded 3d) and I've mentioned the Pipboy animation in the movie.

If anyone knows where it is (if its around) please answer and I'll try to think of someway to repay you.. Thanks

Nah, not that one..

I mean the CGI 'Vault-Tek: Leaving the vault' bit of the opening movie.

Not a problem really, just got to remember to bring my FO2 CD in on Monday (and get my butt kicked by IS for installing games), it would just have been slightly easyer to download it.

I don't know how many hours trying to get that movie. 16 search engines and found nothing. It's a lost cause.

Edit:Isn't this in the wrong spot? Heads up Mods

Grab DatManLight and the Mve to Avi convertor. In DatManLight, select Open, then select the Master.Dat The intro movie is Art/Cuts/Intro.mve (If memory serves). Extract it (Extract button up top or right-click and select 'Extract'). Then follow the instruction in the MVE to AVI converter to convert it. Doing it this way will require about 560 megs or room (~5 for the apps, ~50 for the MVE file, ~500 for the AVI file.).

I'm surprised you didn't hear about those utilities before.

I heard of the utilities but I didn't know that the intro movie was there in that format.
