i made a post a long time ago about the highest bound for a light possible and to have a light have the most effect in a room and not go through the ceiling and i was wondering if anyone knew what the highest bound was to make it do this because i totally forgot to write it down

Light bounds are simply the distance (in meters) the light entity will affect.

Therefore, if you're light entity has a radius of 6 and you set the hieght bound to 3, only the first 3 meters of the 6 meters will be "lit up."

I usually use .1 for Low Bound and 3 for the High bound. Only exceptions are when the light isn't on the floor (i.e. it isn't on height level 0, 13, etc.). For those lights I just "play it by year" :D

Then there's the lights that are near stairwells (either on the top or the bottom). Those are mighty tricky -- you'd have to play around with those 'uns 'cause I forget :(
