Towns

People here think that either towns should be under-devolped and more post-apocalyptic while others seem to think hi-tech towns sound really..uh...
anyway, I think towns could follow certain 'types'. It would be shitty to just have all the towns have been 'wiped out' and shit, that would be really crappy shit. And all the hi-tech towns would be crap. So here are my ideas for what towns could be like
Basic-A bunch of tents and dust, with most people tribals or scavengers (Like vault 15 in FO2)
Ruined-A town that has been bombed or assaulted and all that's left are ruins. A few survivors still cling on though, mostly ghouls though.
Normal-Houses made of brick and a few pavements etc. The civilians are 'normal' fallout civilians, and you encounter this type of town mostly through fallout
Farming/Trading-Houses are made of the white marble you see in shady sands. The town mostly consists of a market, and a lot of the inhabitants are thieves and traders
Pre-war-These type of places are usually abandoned factorys and other pre-war areas. They are usually dangerous places though, and contain a lot of traps, radioactivity and guns. The inhabitants are either security robots, or a gang hiding out
Hi-tech-a surviving town that has stood since civilisation re-built itself. These towns are usually clean, with little criminal activity and have computers, air-vents and other nifty stuff. Think NCR or vault city
I think one or two of each of these location in fallout 3 would make it a diverse and intresting game. A big negative of fallout 2 was a lot of the towns were...shit.
Thoughts?
