Duck and Cover

i'm playin an unarmed char, and it's damn fun. i've got questions about unarmed gameplay...

- what's the next best weapon above the spiked knuckles ? as i recall the only better weapon is the power fist, but that's quite far in the future for me now, so is there anything else ?
- i'm kinda stuck at SAD enterance. i punch fast and hard, but it takes about 5 stims only the *get close* to a cannon... what can i do ?
- i've been boxing in new reno and became the champ. during the last battle the other guy bit my ear off and i now have it as an item on my inventory ... the item description says that i might wanna load if i see that item, but i may also keep it for it may be valuble for something (someone ?) any use for that ear ?

Put some points into melee weapons so you can use the sharpened spear at the beginning and the ripper and super sledge towards the end. Two powerful weapons.

1. Once you advance to about 150% unarmed and have a high str, the spiked knuckles are useless. Your base punches will have far higher critical hit rates and damage ratios. Then the power fist, which you can get for free on Modoc and have upgraded for free in New Reno. Unarmed joy.

2. Sneak and grenades. Or put a few points into big guns and go for a rocket launcher/bozar (yes, small guns would do it, but this is funnier).

3. You permanently lose one charisma point with the ear. Either load or grab a pair of sunglasses (though how you can wear them without an ear we'll never know).

I don't get your comment... the glasses add 1 CH while wearing them, while the ear is a permanent 1CH loss. Wearing the glasses doesn't add 2CH while wearing them They jsut make you look "cool".

yes, so wearing the glasses offsets the CHR loss. and I was wondering how one wears glasses properly minus an ear.

I have now 124% on unarmed and str 9. should i use my own fists & kicks instead of the spiked knuckles ?

and how the hell i can get a power fist on modoc ?

I think he ment Broken Hills.

Or then there is some high tech in Modoc that I've never even heard of
